Description

My very first painting. I started with the jug, and was amazed that despite being terrible at art at school (where my mental model was outlines like in a colouring book), that somehow in the intervening 50 years I had started to see shapes and light and dark. The grapes and grape-leaf particularly are laughable, but I felt I had actually completed a painting. A new experience for me.
